Holding Time

Our holding periods are established by Spokane County ordinance:

• Dogs:
  • With identification: 120 hours from the time of impoundment.
  • Without identification: 72 hours from the time of impoundment.
• Cats:
  • With identification: 120 hours from the time of impoundment.
  • Without identification: 0 hours from the time of impoundment.
