Marriage Ceremonies

Marriage Ceremonies are performed by specific Judges of the District Court. These ceremonies are performed after hours. Please contact the court at 509-477-2901 for more information or to schedule an appointment, or contact us via our wedding information form.

Spokane County District Court judges adhere to Gov. Jay Inslee’s “Safe Start” guidance on wedding ceremonies. Please note: the maximum number of people attending a wedding ceremony is 30. To read the full guidance, which includes the wearing of face coverings (with exemptions) and social distancing, please click here: https://www.governor.wa.gov/sites/default/files/COVID19%20Phase%202%20and%20Phase%203%20Wedding%20and%20Funeral%20Guidance.pdf?utm_medium=email&utm_source=govdelivery

At the time you schedule your wedding, the Judge will inform you of the fee for the service. The Judge can perform the wedding three days after the date the license is issued. You must appear with two witnesses over the age of 18 years for the ceremony.
