Spokane County WA Solid Waste Homepage

Trash (garbage, waste, or wastes) is unwanted or unusable materials. It is any substance which is discarded after primary use, or is worthless, defective or of no further use. Trash is an acceptable waste type at the Spokane County Transfer Stations. For a detailed list of acceptable trash items at the Spokane County transfer stations, view the Solid Waste Department's Trash/garbage Guide for the transfer stations

If you have yard waste and garbage in the same load and want to be charged the two different rates, you must go through the line twice. Need to know where to take a specific type of garbage item? Visit the Spokane Waste and Recycling Directory for more information on where you can take specific items.
