In a competitive bid process, Osborn Consulting was chosen as the consultant to work on a stormwater study for the West Terrace area. This area is located southeast of I-90 near Exit 272. The area is roughly bounded by South Thomas Mallen Road to the east, I-90 to the northwest, and West Melville Road to the south. Land use includes residential, industrial, and light commercial, with The Fairways Golf Course in the central portion of the area.
Public interactions and feedback helped guide project goals and decisions throughout the process of the study. Multiple comment periods, as well as virtual and in-person open houses, were held during the study to present project concepts and get feedback from interested residents and the public. Comments were received through the open houses, phone, email, and survey responses which are compiled in the plan.
