Release from Custody

Posting Bail or Bond
Spokane County Bonds must be posted at the appropriate court during business hours. The jail accepts bonds when the courts are closed. We do not accept checks or credit cards. Cash bonds must be in the full amount only. For information on what a bonding company requires you'll need to contact one of the many available in the phone book or internet search.

General Release Information
If an inmate has been ordered released by the Court, they will be released upon completion of the paperwork process. Their release will be executed as soon as all paperwork is received and completed. Spokane County Detention Services employees are not allowed to disclose the date and time of release of inmates who are in custody, nor are we allowed to take messages for inmates. Inmates are allowed to make a phone call upon their release.
