Sewer Permit Application

The online permitting portal gives you the ability apply for a sewer permit and pay certain fees associated with your sewer application.

Sewer connection permits may require the execution of a Sewer Connection Charge Agreement. If your sewer permit requires a Sewer Connection Charge Agreement, the agreement must be executed before the sewer permit can be issued. *Sewer Connection Charge Agreements must be signed by the property owner or their authorized agent.


Step 1: Create your portal account. New portal accounts must be verified by calling 509-477-3675 to receive your portal access code.

Step 2: Apply

Apply for your sewer permit by logging into the Online Permit Center

Step 3: Receive Confirmation

You will receive an email from the permitting portal about the processing of your permit.


Step 4: Technical Review

Your permit is now under review with our technical review staff! To check your permit status, visit the Online Permit Center. Once the review is complete you will receive an email that walks you through issuance of your permit, or notification that more information is needed to continue the review.


Step 5: Pay

When the sewer permit is ready to issue, pay required fees in the Online Permit Center.
