Regional Disposal Locations, Hours & Fees

The Spokane County Regional Solid Waste System’s (SCRSWS) goal is to keep the community safe and healthy while continuing to provide essential waste disposal services.   Our first priority will always be the health and safety of our community, customers, and employees.

CURRENT OPERATIONAL STATUS:  As of March 23, the North County and Valley Transfer Stations are still open to the public.  Although disposing of household garbage is necessary to ensure a healthy living space, please limit all trips to the Spokane County Transfer Stations to essential trips only. We are experiencing heavy attendance with long lines and wait times. Each trip out can put the transfer station staff, and yourself, at risk. Think about maintaining the yard or spring cleaning another day, or consider holding materials to be disposed of at a later time. Any effort to reduce the amount of trips to the Transfer Stations would be appreciated, and please check often with our current status before visiting our facilities.

The Spokane County Regional Solid Waste System provides clean and convenient, one-stop drops for single stream recyclables, household hazardous waste, yard waste, food waste, and trash.  Locations are open to all Spokane County residents.

Holiday Hours

All facilities are open 7 days a week, except on major holidays (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas).
