2023 Park Season
Spokane County's 2023 park services season is scheduled to begin on May 5 and will continue through October 1. Starting May 5, if applicable, restrooms will be open, picnic tables will be available, trash service will occur and water will be turned on.
Gates: Gates at Camp Caro, Pine River Park, Fish Lake (south) and Bear Lake (west), and Liberty Lake Regional Park (to campground and day use "hiking" parking lot) are currently closed.
- Bear Lake (east) and Fish Lake (north/boat launch) will open on or before April 22nd.
- All other gates will open on May 5.
Until May 5, Spokane County's community and regional parks will continue to be in "off-season" mode. What does that mean? In general, restrooms will be closed / unavailable, trash cans and picnic tables will be removed and put into storage, water will be turned off and irrigation blown out. In addition, gates will be closed at Pine River, Fish Lake, and Bear Lake (west side only). The gate to the upper Camp Caro parking will also remain closed.
Please note: Seasonal closures do not affect Conservation Futures trailheads, where portable restrooms are available throughout the year.
