As of May 1, 2022, all Spokane County-managed and maintained parks are officially open for the summer season! What does that mean? It means lawns are being mowed, picnic tables and trash cans are out.
With that said, please note that like many employers, Spokane County Parks, Recreation & Golf is understaffed despite significant efforts to recruit and retain employees - this may result in periodic park condition and service impacts. More specifically, we've been forced to reduce our service levels until adequate staffing levels can be attained. Please click here to view our current, reduced level of service and how it may impact your next visit to a County park. We'll do our best to limit and mitigate impacts to you as we navigate this challenging time.
P.S. If you know of any one looking for a great summer job, please check out our list of openings!
