  • 1886 Washington and Idaho Fair Association holds the very first fair in the Inland Empire (September 21-25) at Corbin Park.
  • 1887 Washington and Idaho Fair held on October 11-25) at Corbin Park.
  • 1888 Washington and Idaho Fair (July 3-5).
  • 1889 Fire sweeps Spokane (August 4) canceling the Fair. Washington enters statehood (November 11).
  • 1890 Northwestern Industrial Exposition (October 1-3). Great Exhibition Hall constructed between Sprague Avenue and Riverside Avenue.
  • 1891 Spokane Fair and Agricultural Association (October 5-10).
  • 1892 Spokane Fair and Agricultural Association (June 28 - July 4).
  • 1893 Spokane Fair and Agricultural Association hold their last fair.
  • 1894 Spokane Fruit Fair gates open on October 24.
  • 1895 Spokane Fruit Fair (September 30 - October 10).
  • 1896 Spokane Fruit Fair (October 6 - 17).
  • 1897 Spokane Fruit Fair (October 5 - 16). Goddess of Plenty was Miss Blalock.
  • 1898 Spokane Fruit Fair (October 4 - 11). Goddess of Plenty was Katherine Hogen from Whitman County.
  • 1899 Spokane Industrial Exposition (October 7 - 11). The Fair is visited by Chief Joseph. Goddess of Plenty was Jean Goldie Amos from Walla Walla.
