Checking the Status of Your Report
The 911/Crime Check call receivers do not have information about the status of your report.
- Please call the appropriate case-screening number.
- You will need to give the following details:
- Your name
- A return phone number
- Report number and the date on which the report was made.
- To follow-up on a previously filed report, call the appropriate case-screening number below.
- Please allow a minimum of 2-3 business days for the report processing to be completed.
- Have your report number available. If you have lost your report number, you can call records at 625-4279 to get it.
- Call the appropriate case-screening number. Tell them you want to check the status on a previously filed police report.
- For incidents that occurred within Spokane City limits, call 311 or 755-CITY.
- For incidents that occurred within City of Spokane Valley city limits, call 477-6914 for crimes against persons and 477-3320 for property crimes.
- For incidents that occurred outside the Spokane city limits, but within Spokane County, call 477-6914
