WRIA 55
West Branch of the Little Spokane River

Watershed planning under RCW 90.82 is being jointly conducted in the Little and Middle Spokane River Basins. The Spokane River System is tributary to the Columbia River and extends from Washington into Idaho. Water Resource Inventory Area (WRIA) 55 is comprised of the drainage basin of the Little Spokane River. The West Branch LSR Watershed includes: Diamond, Sacheen, Horseshoe, Trout, Wilderness, Fan and Eloika Lakes, connecting reaches of the River, associated wetlands, and contributing streams.

The West Branch of the Little Spokane River Committee was formed as a collaborative effort to address water resource issues and participate in imminent and future water management decisions and funding proposals
