Little Spokane River at Elk Park

This is the upstream-most point of the Little Spokane River system that is being assessed, and is located in Pend Oreille County. It is one of the original compliance points established for instream flow regulation in 1976 (Ch. 173-555 WAC). Historical stream flow data on the Little Spokane River can be obtained from the USGS web site. The Elk control station had a USGS gage collecting continuous records from 1949-1971. Although the gage has been retired, there are more recent bimonthly measurements taken at the Elk gage between 1987 and 1990.
