Sewer Billing - Payment Options
The Spokane County Division of Utilities offers many convenient ways to pay your monthly sewer bill.
It can take approximately 4 business days for your payments to post to Spokane County. To avoid late fees, please refer to the payment due dates as they appear on your monthly billing statement.
For sewer lien payoff amounts, Capital Facilities Rates (CFR) prepayments and partial payments of $500 or more, or General Facilities Charges (GFC) payoffs, please contact our office at (509) 477-3604 prior to submitting payment.

Monthly sewer charges can be paid by telephone using your bank account, Discover, Master Card, or Visa credit card. A convenience fee of $2.95 will be charged by FIS, Inc. Spokane County does not receive any portion of the convenience fee.
Pay Your Bill in Person
Effective August 3, 2015, payments will no longer be accepted at the Division of Utilities reception desk. Payments can be made by cash, check or money order in the Treasurer's office located in the Spokane County Courthouse, 1116 W. Broadway Avenue, 2nd Floor. HOURS: Monday - Thursday 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., excluding Holidays. For your convenience, a payment drop box is located directly outside of the Treasurer's office.

Due Dates/Late Fees
Payments for the monthly sewer services are due by the 25th day of each month or the following business day should the 25th fall on a weekend or holiday.
If the charges on a monthly sewer bill are not paid when due, penalties of ten percent (10%) of the latest billed amount will be imposed. Additionally, eight percent (8%) interest per annum (per year) will be applied to all sewer charges that have not been paid by the due date.
