On Monday, June 4th, 2012, Spokane Valley Sheriff's Deputy Tim Jones responded to the new WalMart construction site at 5025 E. Sprague Ave. on a theft call. Deputy Jones contacted an Aztec Electric employee who told him sometime over the weekend, four
1000 foot wooden spools of MC insulated copper wire were stolen from a construction truck parked inside one of the main buildings.
The employee told Deputy Jones the wooden spools are three feet in diameter and the total loss of the copper was estimated at $3,000.00.
