On Monday, May 21st, Spokane County Sheriff's Deputies investigated vandalism and graffiti to Rockford City Park. Deputy Ron Nye, who is assigned to the Freeman and Liberty School Districts as their School Resource Deputy, has been investigating the incident
since it occurred.
On Thursday, May 31st, Deputy Nye developed probable cause through his investigation to charge four juvenile males. Two of the four suspects were issued a summons for Criminal Trespass and Malicious Mischief through Juvenile Court. A third suspect was issued
a summons for Criminal Trespass only. Deputy Nye was not able to contact the fourth suspect who will also be issued a summons for both charges.
