This month, Spokane County Sheriff Ozzie Knezovich received the honor of being appointed President of the FBI Law Enforcement Executive Development Association (LEEDA). LEEDA is an agency dedicated to providing professional leadership training for law
enforcement executives in the United States as well as globally. Sheriff Knezovich has proudly served on the board since his election in April of 2009.
The core mission of LEEDA is to advance the science and art of police leadership and management, develop and disseminate improved administrative and technical practices to meet the needs of law enforcement executives globally, promote the exchange of information
and expansion of training programs for law enforcement executives and pursue educational excellence through continued public and private partnership programs.
Earlier this month, Sheriff Knezovich was also honored when he was elected President of the Washington Association of Sheriffs and Police Chiefs (WASPC).
