Reward Offered For Valley Robbery

Yesterday, November 20th, 2013, Spokane Valley Sheriff's Deputy Clay Hilton responded to a robbery call at Zip Trip located at 8215 E. Trent. Deputy Hilton contacted the employee who said at approximately 9:00 p.m., a white male entered the store. He said the suspect was wearing a dark coat, hoodie and had a kerchief over his face. He said he was between 5'8" and 5'10".

The employee said the suspect pointed a rifle at him and demanded the money in the cash register. After taking an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency, the suspect ran eastbound from the store. Sheriff's K9 Laslo was not able to locate the suspect.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for anyone providing information leading to an arrest in this incident. Persons with information should call the Crime Stoppers Tip Line at 1-800-222-TIPS, or should forward the tip via the Internet website Tipsters do not have to give their name to collect the cash reward.
