On Sunday, May 13th, Spokane Valley Sheriff's Deputies responded to the 300 block of North Lake Road to a trespassing call. When deputies arrived on scene they found 44-year-old Warren Flinn lying on the ground, injured from an assault. When medics arrived,
they advised deputies Flinn had been shot.
Flinn was alive when medics transported him to a local hospital. Flinn has been listed in critical condition since May 13th and Wednesday, May 16th, Flinn died from his injuries.
Spokane County Sheriff's Office Major Crimes Detectives have been investigating this incident, which is now a homicide investigation, since May 13th. Detectives are asking for assistance from the public in solving this homicide. Anyone who may have seen or
