On Sunday afternoon, October 20th, Deputy Tom Walker responded to the 4200 block of N. Progress Road on a burglary in progress. Deputy Walker contacted the victim who said he and his wife were backing out of the driveway when he noticed a white Ford Taurus
parked in front of his house. He thought the driver was using his cell phone and did not think much about it. When he came back from the store, his neighbor told him he thought the male and female occupants of the vehicle may have entered his home. The victim
went inside and found his wife's purse missing.
The victim drove around the block and found the Taurus. He followed the vehicle into a cul-d-sac until the male driver pointed a gun at him. The suspect exited his car and began walking towards the victim. The victim drove out of the cul-d-sac and observed
the suspect drive away from the scene.
The victim said the male was in his mid to late twenties, white and had a tattoo of spikes on the left side of his neck. The female in the vehicle was also described as white and in her mid to late twenties.
