On Monday, October 14th, 2013, at about 5:45 a.m., Spokane Valley Sheriff's Deputy Tyler Kullman responded to a residential burglary call near 11300 E. Jackson Road. Deputy Kullman spoke with the homeowner who told him he woke up at about 5:15 a.m. to
let their dog out and noticed the south facing window in the living room open. The homeowner said he was positive it was closed when he went to bed and when he looked outside the window, he saw the screen lying up against the house.
The homeowner said he looked around the kitchen and found his wallet was missing from the kitchen counter. He went outside and found his wife's purse and all its contents scattered under a car port. The homeowner reported his cards stolen and found out his
debit card was used three times in Spokane Valley. There are currently no suspects.
