Spokane County Civil Service is now accepting applications for Communications Officer (Radio Dispatcher) in the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office. Our application and further information are available on the Sheriff’s website:
Resumes are not accepted in lieu of our complete application packet. Applications must be received in the Civil Service office, 1229 W Mallon Ave, Spokane, WA 99260, no later than 4:30 p.m. on Friday, November 1, 2013. Postmarks are not accepted.
This IS a very challenging position and attendance at the pre-test informational open house is highly recommender but not required. The open house will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 from 6:00-
8:30 p.m. at the Spokane County Training Center, 10319 E Appleway Blvd., Spokane Valley, WA.
Application must be received before reservation accepted. Limited Seating Available.
The Training Center address does NOT work well on GPS/Navigational apps so if you need help finding our location here’s a link to MapQuest:
SALARY RANGE: $3,436.36 - $4,636.84/mo. + benefits
CLOSING DATE: Open Until Filled. Applications due November 1, 2013 @ 4:30 p.m. for November 8 &
22, 2013 test. Applications received after November 1, 2013 will be held for a test date to be determined
within next six months.
Keyboarding test: November 8, 2013 (November 7, 2013, if needed).
Those who pass the keyboarding test will be scheduled for the written/Zone 911 combo test.
Written/Zone 911 and CritiCall combo test: November 22, 2013.
