Today, July 2nd, 2013, 27-year-old Dustin Myhren and his 31-year-old brother Donald Myhren plead guilty to multiple felony charges stemming from their crime spree they committed during February and March of 2012. Sheriff's Office Investigative Task Force
(ITF) detectives had been investigating the Myhren brothers for multiple felony crimes.
Today Dustin pled guilty to the following felony charges:
• One count of Residential Burglary.
• One count of First Degree Burglary.
• One count of Trafficking in Stolen Property.
The official sentencing for both brothers will be at 3:30 p.m. in Judge Cozza's courtroom on July 17th, 2013. Dustin will serve 40-48 months in prison and will be on probation when released.
Donald pled guilty to the following felony charges:
• Seven counts of Residential Burglary.
• One count of Attempted 2nd Degree Robbery.
• One count of Theft of a Firearm.
• One count of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.
Donald will serve 95.1 months in prison and 95.1 months on probation. If he violates his probation he will spend the remainder of his probation in prison.
Both brothers received a felony strike as well stemming from an incident in the West Plains where the homeowner's son came home while the brothers were burglarizing his house. The brothers pointed a gun at the victim as he was attempting to write down their
license plate number as they fled the scene.
