Local Law Enforcement Plays Hockey to Benefit "Behind the Badge"

The Spokane Police Department vs. Spokane County Sheriff’s Office benefit hockey game will be held on Saturday November 10th at the Spokane Arena. The game will start at 5 pm prior the Spokane Chiefs game against the Portland Winterhawks at 7 pm.

Come show your support for the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office, the Spokane Police Department, Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office, Post Falls Police Department and “Behind the Badge”. Proceeds from the commemorative t-shirt sales and the Spokane Chiefs auction will go to benefit the “Behind the Badge Foundation” which provides comprehensive support to Washington State’s law enforcement agencies, families and communities after a line of duty death or when an officer suffers a serious injury. http://www.behindthebadgefoundation.org/

Spokane County Sheriff’s Deputies Spink and Northway, who were shot and injured last June, and the family of late Spokane Police Officer Kurt Henson will be in attendance and honored in a pre-game ceremony.
