The 5th National DEA Prescription Drug Take Back Initiative will be held on September 29, 2012, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Last April 28, 2012, the event was held at the Spokane County Sheriff's Office Valley Precinct and filled 10 boxes with over 400 pounds
of dropped off medications.
The upcoming event will expand to two sites! We will again be at the Valley Precinct, located at 12710 E. Sprague Ave., and we will add a second drop off site at the North Spokane Library, located at 44 E. Hawthorne Road. Each site will also have a shred truck
from DeVries Business Services available to collect sensitive documents for safe disposal.
