SCRAPS Hope Foundation
The SCRAPS Hope Foundation was established in 2009 at a non-profit agency to assist the Spokane County Regional Animal Protection Service (SCRAPS) in their mission of building a more humane community, protecting public safety and ensuring animal welfare through compassionate, responsive, professional enforcement of laws and public policy.
The Foundation works to provide programs that otherwise would not be available to homeless animals and member of our community. Programs like our animal medical program, which helps us treat animals that come to us needing veterinary care. The Foundation also provides animal behavior programs that provides free dog training and behavior consultations to help animals stay in their homes and our Transport Program, which assists in transporting adoptable pets to adoption shelters and rescue groups around the region.
These programs in addition to our humane education programs are all funded by donation from the public and generous business partners.
