Request for Qualifications (RFQ)
Spokane County is soliciting proposals from qualified firm(s)/individual(s) to provide legal services for the County, as requested, commencing January 1, 2009, and running through December 31, 2010. The term may by mutual agreement between firm(s)/individual(s) be extended for an additional one (1) year time frame.

The RFQ sets forth the scope of services, minimum qualifications and proposal requirements. Proposals (2 sets) must be received on or before 5 o’clock p.m. on September 30, 2008, by:

Envelopes containing the proposals are to be sealed and clearly marked: “Proposals for Legal Representation of Spokane County.” No proposal will be accepted after the deadline. Late proposals will be marked as such and not opened or considered. All accepted proposals will become the property of Spokane County. All costs incurred in conjunction with the submittal of any proposal will be the sole responsibility of the proposer.
Proposals shall be subject to applicable laws and regulations governing public disclosure (chapter 42.56 RCW). Any information received within the proposal will be considered part of the public record of this procurement. The RFQ is available at http://www.spokanecounty.org/prosecuting/rfq/ . Spokane County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals for any reason whatsoever, to waive informalities and irregularities in the proposal submitting process, to negotiate further with any firm(s)/individual(s), and to accept a proposal or proposals which are considered to be in the best interest of Spokane County.
