Duties & Responsibilities

1. Negotiate collective bargaining agreements (CBA)
2. Interpretation and compliance with CBA
3. Advise County Leaders on labor relation issues
4. Compliance with State and federal labor laws – www.mrsc.org/subjects/Legal/legal.aspx
5. Managing employee discipline, discharge and grievances
6. Conduct employee misconduct internal investigations
7. Train County Leaders regarding Labor issues
8. Represent County before Public Employee Relations Commission - www.perc.wa.gov
9. Facilitate and draft County’s Labor Policies
