Admission Tickets and Parking / At the Gate

  • Free to Children Six Years of Age and Under
  • $5.00 Youth Ages 7 to 13
  • $5.00 Seniors 65 and Over
  • $8.00 Adults
Parking is available on our grounds at the Main Gate and the South Gate. Handicapped parking is located at both gates. The Interstate Fair provides handicapped accessible parking spaces, more than code requirement, on a first-come, first-served basis.  

 

ATMs

Six ATM machines are located throughout the grounds including at the east and west entrances of the Plaza, near the outdoor restrooms of Bay 4, and at the Grandstand ticket booth.

Fair Hours

  • September 5-13: 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
  • September 14: 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Carnival Prices / Ride Restrictions

Butler Amusements will be offering discounted P.O.P. (pay one price) nights on September 5, 8-11, 2008. The P.O.P. during these discounted nights is just $25.00. The P.O.P. will also be offered the remaining nights of the Fair for $30.00. The purchase of an admission ticket to the Fair and a bracelet will allow unlimited rides within the carnival area on the nights listed above. During the remainder of the Fair, individual coupons are $1.00 each.  Buy your bracelet at the Fair Office before close of business on September 4 for just $22!

Spin Out

Butler Amusements presents an extraordinary array of rides, from those just for children to the Super Spectaculars that tower over the midway. These exciting, enjoyable rides, operated by professional personnel, thrill children to kids at heart. Three to five tickets are needed to embark on any of the rides.

For the safety of all riders, the following height requirements will be adhered to in the carnival -

  • 32" - Corvettes (32 - 48"), Galaxy Swings (32 - 48"), Jump Around (32" minimum), Noah's Lark (32 - 54"), Roadster (32 - 48"), Splash n Crash (32 - 54")
  • 36" - Bear Affair (or 32" with adult), Ghost Party (or 32" with adult), Looney Tooter (or 32" with adult), Mardi Gras (or 32" with adult), Orient Express, Tea Cups (or 32" with adult), Yellow Slide
  • 42" - Airport 8 (or 36" with adult), Century Carousel (or 32" with adult), Club Idol, Eagle 16 (no single riders), Giant Slide, Giant Wheel (no single riders), Lolli Swings (or 32" with adult), Purple Slide, Scrambler, Tilt (or 32" with adult), Shrek (or 36" with adult), Voyager (or 32" with adult), Wacky Worm Coaster (or 36" with adult), Yo Yo
  • 44" - Viper (NEW for 2008)
  • 46" - Star Dancer
  • 48" - 1001 Nachts, Cliff Hanger, Cyclone, Gravitron, Scooters (or 44" with adult), Super Shot Drop Tower, Thunderbolt, Zillerator (or 44" with adult)
  • 50" - Zipper (no single riders)
  • 52" - Spin Out
  • 54" - Energy Storm, Ring of Fire

The Main Carnival on the Main Lawn will open at 3:00 p.m. on weekdays and Noon on Saturdays and Sundays. Lost People

Our Lost People Center is located in the silo at the west entrance to the Plaza. It is staffed by dedicated, caring professionals skilled in reuniting folks. They are on duty daily every hour of the Fair to assist fairgoers who are separated from their parties.

Lost and Found

All lost and found items should be brought to the Security Office located at the Yellow Gate.

Public Address System

The PA system is used for informational and emergency purposes only. The PA system cannot be used by the public for paging. Emergencies should be reported to Security.

Services

  • Baby Changing / Nursing Area - portable changing areas are located throughout the Fair. Please check the Daily Program for exact locations.
  • First Aid - located directly south of the Main Grandstand and just inside of the Main Gate. This year the booths are being manned by volunteers from the Spokane Valley Fire Department.
  • Information Booth - the Guest Services / Information Booths are located just inside the Plaza entrance and near the Grandstand for your convenience.
  • Security - located outside, near the Yellow Gate in a modular unit. Security and parking services are provided by Kodiak.

Wheelchair Rentals

Wheelchairs are available for rent at the Main Gate through American Seating and Mobility.  Non-electric wheelchairs rent for $5.00 per day.  Small electric scooter (250 lb weight capacity) rental rates are $10.00 for the first two hours and $5.00 per hour after the first two hours (or $35.00 per day).  Large electric scooter (250+ lb weight capacity) rental rates are $15.00 for the first two hours and $5.00 per hour after the first two hours (or $40.00 per day).  All rentals are subject to availability and reservations are not accepted.
