Revised Environmental Assessment and Appendices for the Bigelow Gulch Road/Forker Road Urban Connector Havana Street to Sullivan Road, Spokane County, Washington

The Federal Highway Administration, Washington State Department of Transportation, and Spokane County Public Works Department, are pleased to announce the availability of the Revised Environmental Assessment and Appendices for the Bigelow Gulch Road/Forker Road Urban Connector Havana Street to Sullivan Road in Spokane County. The Revised EA has been available since November 8, 2007 for public review. The public comment period for this Revised EA is being extended until January 11, 2008.  The Revised EA has been prepared for the proposed improvements to Bigelow Gulch Road/Forker Road from Havana Street on the west to the eastern terminus at the Sullivan Road and Wellesley Avenue intersection, a distance of 8.2 miles. The Revised EA has been prepared to address public comments on the January 2006 EA and in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), the National Historic Preservation Act and regulations of the Council on Environmental Quality.
