General licensing information
Pet licensing (dogs and cats) is mandatory in all areas of Spokane County within 30 days of acquisition of a pet or when the pet reaches 6 month of age. It is recommended that the license be attached to a substantial collar and worn by the pet at all times.
SCRAPS has free sterilization vouchers available for residents of the areas that we serve. The program is funded by a $4.00 surcharge added to all pet license sold in Spokane County. The vouchers are dollars off coupons worth:
The voucher is good for thirty days. To request a voucher at the time of licensing just check the box when purchasing your pet's tag online. The amount will calculate at the spay/neuter fee listed below. If you do not intend to sterilize your pet within thirty days you must pay the non spayed/neutered fee. When requesting a voucher online it will be mailed to you with your pet license tag and receipt - please allow two weeks for us to process. If you need the voucher immediately you will need to license your pet in person at our facility.
