Staff and partners of the Spokane County Community Services Prevention Services are pleased to join efforts with other organizations in the formation of the Spokane Regional Indian Tobacco Coalition. The Coalition is growing in membership and welcomes new member organizations. The current members are:
Mission Statement: The mission of the Spokane Regional Indian Tobacco Coalition, with respect to traditional and spiritual values, is to reduce harmful tobacco use within the urban American Indian/Alaskan Native population.

Note: The Seattle Indian Health Board provides substantial assistance to the Spokane Regional Indian Tobacco Coalition. The Washington State Department of Health, Tobacco Prevention & Control Program contracts with the Seattle Indian Health Board to coordinate statewide coalition efforts that address tobacco related health disparities among the Urban Indian population.
