Developmental Disabilities is one (1) of the three (3) major areas funded by the Department of Social & Health Services within Spokane County Community Services.

The Fiscal Grant Manager maintains fiscal oversight of Federal/State/County/Local Grant dollars funding an array of contracted services to adults and children with developmental disabilities.

Financial management of the biennial award includes knowledge of the grant (s) requirements, identifying administrative, current level and legislative proviso funding, preparing a program agreement budget and a biennial spending plan for prime contracts and all other Amendments.

Developmental Disabilities contracts to service providers are Fee for Service and/or Cost Reimbursement Contracts. Contractors are monitored on a biennial basis for financial contract compliance. Financial data and billing system trends provide the Developmental Disabilities' program managers information for program planning purposes.
