County Commissioner, District 3 - Bonnie Mager

The community has been Bonnie’s special interest for over 20 years. Whether tutoring grade school children in reading or working on quality of life issues as the director of Citizens for Clean Air, Eastern Washington Coordinator for the WEC or as the co-founder and Executive Director of the Neighborhood Alliance of Spokane, Bonnie has made giving back to our community her life's work.
This work has given her first hand experience with county and city issues related to public safety, education, transportation, land-use, health, agriculture and environment. Her service on many boards and steering committees, both locally and throughout the state, has provided her with the institutional knowledge necessary to make prudent and informed decisions.
As a participant and graduate of the WSU Holistic Management Project, Bonnie worked with ranchers, farmers and state and federal agencies to solve difficult problems. As Executive Director of the Neighborhood Alliance she worked with developers, neighborhoods, business groups and government agencies to improve relationships and our community.
Bonnie has proven she knows how to bring diverse groups together---and as your county commissioner, her decision-making table is always big enough for everyone.
