Victim Advocates of the Spokane County Prosecutor’s Office to Honor the Memories of Murder Victims
For the past Ten years, the Victim Advocates from the Spokane County Prosecutor’s Office have been recognizing the National Day of Remembrance for Murder Victims in September.
Annette Ingham, Victim/Witness Manager with the Spokane County Prosecutors Office, offered this description of the event, “This year, we are recognizing victims by having a candlelight vigil outside of the Spokane County Courthouse. Our goal is to have people remember their loved ones by reading a story, a poem, showing a picture, or something similar. We want to celebrate their life and not how they died.”
