Explosive Disposal Unit

The Explosives Disposal Unit is a combined team of technicians and command staff from both the Spokane Police Department and Sheriff’s Office.

Only technicians who have graduated from the Hazardous Devices School at Redstone, Alabama, and are licensed to handle explosives in the state of Washington, handle any explosives, suspected devices, or actual devices.
