One of the largest public works projects in Spokane County history was launched on June 4, 2009!
Spokane County and City officials broke ground for a $140 million Regional Water Reclamation Facility. CH2M HILL will design, build and operate the facility on land that was once occupied by stockyards off Freya Street.
Construction will begin in earnest this summer and the eight-million-gallon-per-day facility is scheduled to be fully operational in 2012. For more information go to
