Evening Reporting Program (ERP)

ERP began in October 2005 and is an alternative to confinement for youth whohave violated their conditions of probation. Youth are ordered to the program between 1 and 15 days.

Youth playing basketball during the Evening Reporting ProgramThis 3 1/2 hour, Tuesday-Thursday program is located at the Structured Alternative Confinement School at Juvenile Court. Youth are held accountable for their actions by attending classes with evidence-based components that focus on avoiding future probation violations. They are also introduced to pro-social activities in the community which help build protective factors. Recreational activities take place at the nearby YMCA and a family component is conducted by a family therapist once a week.
