FAIR FUN: Can you answer all four questions? The answers are located at the bottom of the page.

  1. How heavy does a pig need to be before it is considered a "market animal".
  2. If it is not heavy enough to be a "market animal" what is the next classification below that?
  3. What is the minimum weight of a feeder pig?
  4. What is a pig's nose called?

NUMBER OF EXHIBITS: To clarify the numbers, each time an animal goes into the arena to be judged, it is counted as an exhibit. Some hogs enter up to 2  classes each.
