Spokane County Commissioner, District 3 - Bonnie Mager
Bonnie Mager brings to the Board of County Commissioners a wealth of experience as a community advocate. Since moving to Spokane County 20-years ago, Commissioner Mager has served as the Director of Citizens for Clean Air, Eastern Washington Coordinator for the Washington Environmental Council and the co-founder and former Director of the Neighborhood Alliance of Spokane. Her work in these areas has provided first-hand experience in county issues related to transportation, land-use, health, agriculture and the environment.
Commissioner Mager is committed to:
- Restoring planned sustainable growth through the neighborhood planning process, without sacrificing either economic or environmental health;
- Collaborative decision-making between special interest groups and County government;
- Promoting youth involvement in County issues;
Commissioner Mager and her husband John also take special pride in their growing family of three children and two grandchildren.
