March 15, 2012 - Proposed Text Amendment to the Spokane County Zoning Code to include a new chapter for the Fairchild Air Force Base Overlay Zone
The Spokane County Planning Commission and Board of County Commissioners will hold a joint public workshop and a joint public hearing on March 15, 2012, at 9:00 a.m. in the Public Works Building, Commissioners Hearing Room located at 1026 W. Broadway Ave., Spokane, WA. The purpose of the public hearing will be to consider public comment on including anew chapter for the Fairchild Air Force Base Overlay Zone. This proposed amendment includes establishment of accident potential zones, allowed use in accident potential zones, height restrictions, noise impact areas/noise reduction, and military influences areas to implement recommendations of the 2010 Joint Land Use Study (JLUS) for Fairchild Air Force Base.
