Public Hearing Information 


 AMENDMENT TO SPOKANE COUNTY ZONING CODE REGARDING RAIL YARDS IN RURAL AND RESOURCE ZONING CODE CATEGORIES

 

The Spokane County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on February 12, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. in the Board of County Commissioner's Hearing Room, Public Works Building, 10260 W Broadway Ave, Spokane, WA. The purpose of the public hearing is to consider testimony in support or opposition to a proposed amendment to the Spokane County Zoning Code Chapter 14.300, Definitions; Chapter 14.616, Resource Lands and Chapter 14.618, Rural Zones. The amendment as proposed would allow railroad yard intermodal facilities in the Rural and Resource Land Zones with associated development regulations. Testimony will be limited to (3) minutes per speaker. The Planning Commission reserves the right to adjust the time frame allotted to speakers, as well as hearing procedures, prior to the hearing.

AMENDMENT TO SPOKANE COUNTY ZONING CODE REGARDING PRODUCTION, PROCESSING AND RETAIL SALE OF RECREATIONAL MARIJUANA

 

The Spokane County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on November 13, 2014 in the Board of County Commissioner's Hearing Room, Lower Level, Public Works Building, 1026 W Broadway Ave, Spokane, WA. The hearing will begin at 9:00 a.m. or as soon as possible thereafter and concluding with the last speaker or at 4:00 p.m., whichever comes first. If necessary, the hearing may be continued. The purpose of the public hearing is to consider oral and written testimony in support of or in opposition to proposed amendment 14-ZTA-03 to multiple sections of the Spokane County Zoning Code regarding the production, processing and retail sale of recreational marijuana.
