Joint Land Use Study for Fairchild Air Force Base Implemented by Adoption of Fairchild Air Force Overlay Zone

On May 1, 2012 the Board of County Commissioners adopted a new chapter of the Spokane County Zoning Code titled Fairchild Air Force Base Overlay Zone.  The new Fairchild Air Force Base (FAFB) overlay zone established accident potential zones, height restrictions, noise impact area/noise reduction, and military influence areas to implement recommendations of the Joint Land Use Study for Fairchild Air Force Base.
