The Evidence-Based Processes Subcommittee will work to identify, inventory, and analyze the evidence-based practices currently being utilized throughout the city and county criminal justice systems in the Spokane region.

All evidence-based practices reviewed and recommended by the subcommittee should be designed to increase public safety and reduce recidivism while applying a best practice and research informed perspective.
Developing a statutorily authorized framework that will ensure that evidence-based decision making practices occur within each step of the continuum.
Identifying gaps in service and recommend the adoption or creation of new evidence-based programs and interventions to meet the needs of our offender population.
Reviewing the major decision points within the regional criminal justice system.
