Greater Spokane Emergency Management

~Promoting Community Resilience through Collaboration~

Your Greater Spokane Emergency Management office focuses on whole community resilience in the time of crisis. To do that, we bring community partners to the table--at the same time--to strategize ongoing response.

Working with our community to ensure the Greater Spokane area is prepared to protect against, respond to and recover from major emergencies and disasters.

Greater Spokane Emergency Management (GSEM) is the coordinating agency during major emergencies and disasters for citizens, response partners and elected officials. This includes synchronizing communication flow between federal, state and local governments, as well as local agencies and the citizens of the Greater Spokane area.

In addition, GSEM helps facilitate community preparedness, response and recovery efforts, and provides public education on a variety of emergency related topics.
